Highlights of Our Tour:
Land Gate (Kopnena Vrata) – Our journey begins at the monumental entrance to the Zadar Old Town from the south. You'll learn about the Venetian influence and uncover a secret hidden in a carved book.
Five Wells Square (Trg pet bunara) – A charming Renaissance square with five wells that provided the city with water for centuries.
Hidden Streets of Zadar – Walk through mysterious alleyways to discover medieval structures and ancient city foundations.
St. Simeon’s Church – One of the city's most important religious sites, holding legendary relics and fascinating stories.
People’s Square (Narodni Trg) and City Loggia – The political and social center of Zadar since the Middle Ages, now a hub for cultural events and gatherings.
Kalelarga – The main street of Zadar, dating back to Roman times, now filled with lively restaurants, cafés, and shops.
St. Anastasia’s Cathedral – is the city's largest and most significant church. Dedicated to St. Anastasia, a Christian martyr, the cathedral’s construction began in the 12th century and continued into the 13th century, making it a prime example of Romanesque architecture. Over time, the church has seen several changes and additions, including Baroque-style modifications, which have enriched its historical and architectural layers.
Roman Forum – The ancient marketplace, once a vibrant center of social life, will transport you back to Roman times.
St. Donatus Church – The symbol of Zadar, a 9th-century church famous for its remarkable acoustics and Carolingian architecture.

Zadar’s Old Town is a true gem, full of historic buildings and charming streets. Surrounded by Venetian defensive walls, it forms an incredible labyrinth leading to the city's most important landmarks.

As part of the tour includes visits to sacred sites such as churches, we kindly ask you to dress appropriately – please bring something to cover your shoulders, and make sure that skirts or shorts reach at least to the knees.
