SIGHTS, NATURAL WONDERS & ATTRACTIONS
Sakarun - one of the most famous and most photographed beaches of Croatia. A large bay with shallow, warm water, surrounded on all sides by forests attracts sailors as well as those who do not have their own boat. Numerous cruise ships take tourists to nearby villages, and from there, a tourist bus runs to the beach. Saharun has about 800m of coastline and its coastline is gravelly sandy. Only about 250m from the shore the sea is gaining depth, and the bottom of the bay is covered with sand. Such conditions make it an ideal place for children and people who do not know or poorly swim. Due to the great popularity of "Croatian Maldives", the beach in the high season can be crowded, but it is certainly a must-see place.

PLAN OF THE EXCURSION
8:30 ZADAR, excursion port in the old city, next to the pedestrian bridge - Liburnska Obala ( GPS 44.116240, 15.228428 )

9:00 - 10:30 cruise among the islands of the Zadar archipelago to the island of Dugi Otok
- beautiful views of the passing islands of Ugljan, Rivanj, Tri Sestrice, Sestrunj, Molat, Tun Veli, Zverinac, Veli Rat Lighthouse
10:30 mooring in the small picturesque village Božava on Dugi Otok Island and a short walk (about 350m) to the bus stop
10:30 - 11:00 bus transfer in groups to the beach (the travel time itself is 10 minutes) and short walk (about 300m) to the beach
11:15 - 15:15 free time (4h) on Sakarun beach for sunbathing and swimming

- sun loungers and sun umbrellas rental on the beach (not included in price)
15:15 - 16:00 bus transfer to Božava, in groups (the travel time itself is 10 minutes)
15:30 - 16:30 free time in Božava
The length of free time depends on which transfer group will take the participants from the beach to the village. It is not possible to transport everyone at the same time, so guests who arrive at the village earlier have more free time here.
